(Taunton MA) - On Tuesday, February 17th the Bristol Bayhawks Women's basketball team hosted the Roxbury Community College Tigers in a NJCAA Region XXI matchup. On the final regular season home game, Bristol honored it's two Sophomores Hayley King and Goddess Gregg. The Bayhawks controlled the game from start to finish, leading 52-11 at halftime and winning with a 91-29 final score.
Bristol's sophomore Hayley King (Wareham MA) led the way with a career-high 31 points and 15 rebounds while freshman Brianna Malgauti (Taunton MA) added 21 points and 8 rebounds. Freshman Charmya Hayes-Paullette (Fall River MA) finished with a triple-double, pouring in 19 points, 18 rebounds and 10 assists. Freshman Jayda Martino (Fall River MA) notched a quadruple-double with 18 points, 13 steals, 12 rebounds and 11 assists in the victory for the Bayhawks.
Bristol's next game will be on the road against defending NJCAA Region XXI champions, the Community College of Rhode Island Knights. The matchup will be at 530pm on Friday, February 20th. Please follow our Bristol's athletics website and social media pages for news and updates.
