(Holyoke MA) On Wednesday September 17th, the Bristol Bayhawks men's soccer team traveled to play Region XXI opponent, the Holyoke Cougars. The Bayhawks won with a convincing 4-0 victory. Bristol now starts with a 1-0 Region XXI record and a 2-1 overall record.
Bristol's fast footed Freshman Nyzaiah Pacheco, (Westport MA) scored 2 goals in the match. The first goal was assisted by the captain and last year's All-Region XXI team member, Claudio Ramos (New Bedford MA). Freshman Guylens Mojar (New Bedford MA) and freshman Jehiel Moreno (New Bedford MA) each had 1 goal on assists by freshman Landon Hunter (Rochester MA) and sophomore Josh Codella (Attleboro MA) in the win for the Bayhawks.
Bristol's next match will be home at Bristolcc Taunton on Friday, September 19th. The Bayhawks will face Region XXI member, the Community College of Rhode Island Knights at 3pm. Please follow Bristol's athletics website and social media pages for all Bayhawks updates and news.
