The Bayhawks announce Mary Cass as its first Cross Country Coach for the upcoming 2017 season.
Coach Cass brings a wealth of running experience with her to this new role. She averages twenty races each year herself and she will be running in her eighth marathon next April when she runs the Boston Marathon for the seventh time. Coach's personal record for a marathon is an impressive 3 hours and 38 minutes.
"Our goals for the first year of cross-country is to develop any runner to compete this year, next year and for a lifetime," Said Coach Cass. Running is something that anyone can do and enjoy when done correctly and within each runner’s ability," She added.
Coach Cass is also an instructor for engineering at Bristol Community College.
