(Fall River MA) The Bristol Community College fitness center is located in the G building on the Fall River campus. Each day of the week, the center offers free classes for all students, staff and alumni. The fitness center is open Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm and Fridays 9am-3pm. Please see class details below:
Strength and Core with Wendy — Mondays at 12pm (Online)
Join Wendy for a terrific full body workout using hand weights and body weight exercises to strengthen, lengthen and sculpt all the muscle groups in just 45 minutes. She will work your arms, legs, back and core muscles in this live online workout. Lightweight dumbbells and a mat are helpful but not required. All levels are welcome.
Bristol Bootcamp with Lynette — Tuesdays at 12pm & 4pm / Fridays at 12pm (In-person only)
Get ready to build strength and endurance! This fun and motivating class uses high intensity interval training, diverse timed movements, and challenging strength moves. Each class is unique and incorporates dumbbells, body bars, kettlebells and fitness bands along with other equipment. We use a variety of moves to offer you the best of cardio endurance and strength training. All levels are welcome.
Yoga Flow with Luna — Wednesdays at 12:30pm & 4pm/ Thursdays at 12:30pm (In-person only)
This is a basic Yoga flow class that focuses on asana form, breath, movement, and lots of fun! Expect a well-rounded practice - to exert and build mild heat. This class includes some balance, mobility work, tensing, and softening of tissues, as well as sweet cool down or stretch. Can be modified to support ease (use of props encouraged) or challenge yourself to go further (options for expansion and to deepen are available). Come as you are, leave empowered. No prior Yoga knowledge is required. All levels are welcome.
