(Fall River MA) On Tuesdays in September, the Bristol Community College Athletics department partnered up with the Learning Center to relaunch Bayhawks 101. The sessions held at the Library Learning Commons were designed at providing student-athletes with support from librarians and tutors. The objective was to increase awareness of accessing online and academic resources for the upcoming school year.

 

Coordinator of Learning Resources, Sharon Goyette said "We're excited about the energy this kickoff event generated, and we hope it marks the beginning of a successful academic semester and athletic season for all our Bayhawks!" Goyette along with Director of Athletics, Brian Fernandes have collaborated on this inititive since 2021. Brian Fernandes stated "It's important for us to meet with and show our student-athletes where they can find the support they may need academically."
