The Department of Athletics and Recreation is pleased to announce the hiring of Jason Tassinari.  Jason has accepted the position of Head Women's Soccer Coach / Athletics Department Recruiter, effective April 3rd, 2019. Jason will be responsible for leading the women's soccer program both on and off the field, as well as support recruitment efforts in the department.

He brings extensive head coaching and recruiting experience to Bristol.  He most recently served as the assistant men's soccer coach at Eastern Nazarene College during the 2018 season where he helped guide the Lions to the New England Collegiate Conference Semi-final Game.  Prior to Eastern Nazarene Jason led the women's soccer program for six seasons at Curry College from 2012-2018. While at Curry College the women's soccer program qualified for the Commonwealth Coast Conference Tournament five of Coach Tassinari's six years at the helm of the program. 

Prior to Curry, Jason served as the head women's soccer coach at Emerson College for four seasons.  During his time at Emerson he guided the program to four GNAC Tournaments, including two quarter final games, one conference runner-up, and a regular season championship in 2004.  Tassinari was also named GNAC Coach of the Year in 2004.

Jason has also served as the assistant women's soccer coach at Wheaton College, head men's soccer coach at Stonehill College, and men's assistant coach at Bridgewater State University. In addition to his experience at the college level, Jason has served a number of season's at the high school level and continues to be active in club soccer with FCUSA and Southshore Stingrays Soccer Club.

Coach Tassinari received his Bachelors Degree from Bridgewater State University where he also competed on the men's soccer team.  While a member of BSU soccer team, Tassinari was named team captain during senior season and was an All-Conference player.
